Take me back to this stunning Rustico At Hay Shed Hill wedding! When I arrived at Alex’s accommodation, I had to blink twice to remind me I had not just landed in Greece but was in fact in Yallingup, Western Australia. This house was just stunning and the grounds beautiful to match, the bonus was Erin was just a quick walk down the back track. This was truly an amazing find on Airbnb!
After starting with photos of the guys in this stunning, white walled gem of a house, I literally walked down the bush track out the back to the house where the girls were getting ready. The house was also beautiful but without an actual aircon unit in the main bedroom upstairs, things got hot pretty quick. Again, the white walls and paired back styling in the bedroom made taking photos here a breeze (if only I could say the same about the aircon) and when everyone was ready, the girls hit the footpath to go and surprise the awaiting groom.
The exterior of the Greek style house was so beautiful that I set up the First Look outside. Alex was truly surprised and amazed to see his beautiful bride when he turned around. Everyone just looked so amazing in this setting! After the first look and some pre-wedding bridal party photos around the house and bushland at the back, we headed to Rustico At Hay Shed Hill for the ceremony and celebrations.
When we arrived there, we were directed down a track into to vineyards where the arbor and seating had been set up by the staff, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants’ daytime traffic.
A first for me, was seeing Grandma walking down the aisle tossing the rose petals in front of the bride. It was also the first wedding for the celebrant, E & A’s friend who’d become a celebrant just in time/especially for this occasion. It was a beautiful ceremony in the vineyard, (I LOVE how these 2 looked at one another) and once Erin changed into her white sneakers, they were ready to walk back to the restaurant for a well-deserved glass of bubbles and catch-up with friends and family.
Just before the sun with all its beautiful light left us for the day, we snuck away to get a few more photos in the vineyard directly behind the building – just the 3 of us.
Rustico is such a pretty restaurant, I just love the plants on the inside above the tables. It creates such a cosy atmosphere which is exactly what you want when you are enjoying a glass of wine and delicious food with friends and family. After the speeches E & A opened the dance floor with a first dance and that was also the signal for the cocktail bar to get the party started with the first round of Espresso Martinis!
It was difficult to choose but here are a few of the highlight from this romantic Rustico At Hay Shed Hill wedding.
